Question for gay or straight men?

So, funny story, I was watching the Today Show today and I saw a woman guest talking about the influence for her new book, Can't Think Straight. Her husband, after years of marriage, confessed one day that he was confused about his ual orientation... he told her this only after having an affair with another man. More and more cases like this are coming up out of the woodwork. So I ask my husband, "are you secretly gay and I will only find out halfway through our lives?" To which he responded, "No, I'm not gay, I couldn't do the a** thing. However, can you hardly blame them? Women are MEAN and rude and nasty creatures sometimes. Men don't have issues like that!" He proceeded to tell me his gay boss had a special sympathy for him because he was straight. WHAT??? What is the deal? In your opinion, is there something women are doing that makes this "transition" so much easier? What do you think about this?
