Question about Star Wars 4?

First, after he sees the message from Artoo, he's facing the challenge of having to decide to return to the farm life he has known or help rescue the princess. Next, he has to find a pilot trustworthy enough to get him to where the princess is being held. Once there, he must disguise himself as a "threshold guardian" to gain access to the princess's cell. Also, he must go it alone to find the princess. The first place he goes that is abnormal is Mos Eisley. There he sees creatures unlike anything he's experienced. The next place is the Death Star. He hits a low after Obi-Wan's death, and Leia tells him that there is nothing he could have done. Han tells him that they're not out of danger yet, as the TIE Fighters are closing in on them. His resurrection comes after nearly being killed by the trash monster, and yet again, in the Death Star trench when Vader is about to shoot. His restitution is being promoted to Commander and being presented the medal by Princess Leia.
