Depression Help. :(((((..............?

I know how it feels to be depressed. I was depressed my whole junior and senior year. I was not to the point where I would hurt myself like you are. I always had different ways of taking out my anger. Join a kick boxing cl! Trust me that helps! Go for a long walk/run in a park or around your neighborhood instead of hurting yourself. I had a friend who used to cut when she got stressed and one day she did it in front of me before I could stop her and I went to her dad and told him about it right then and there. I didn't talk to her for a long time. When you are this depressed that you feel the need to hurt yourself it is time to get help. If you can't tell your parents atleast go to the school nurse or your Guidance conselor. You need help and your life is worth living! Don't ever think as bad as it that it is not. My husband is overseas and I am upset but I know my limits on getting upset and I know how to get over my feelings of being upset. I see that you are interested in cooking and looks like your health. I would join some after school activities or clubs. You will be amazed at how much friends you will make. As for your parents maybe it is time to have a heart to heart talk with them. Sit them down at dinner or after dinner and tell them what is going on. Do they know that you hurt yourself? Do they know why? Do they know about your friend commiting succide? Tell them everything before it is too late. Yes they might be upset and angry, Yes they might suggest going to see a conselor and that you need medication but maybe that is what you need. Suggest that they go with you to help you get over this hurdle. You can do this! Hope I could help!
