What kind of thong should i get and where should i get it?

when i went shopping the other day I bought s pair of sweat pants. When i got home i noticed you could see an underwear line which looked totally unflattering. My friend told me that I should wear a thong with them to eliminate the line. I don't know if i should because I'm only 14. What brands and stores do you recommend sell the most comfortable thongs
