I need help! Can't afford to take it to a mechanic.?

I have a 1988 Buick LeSabre, 3.8 engine, 6cyl. About 2 and a half weeks ago I put a brand new battery in. About four days after that fact, my car won't start. The engine turns, but there's no spark. I changed out the ignition module, which didn't work, so I returned it and put my original one back on. Changed out the igntion coil, still didn't work. Spark plugs and wires have been changed/checked. Fuses are going to be checked on Saturday. Does anyone else have any ideas of what else it could be?? Its not the fuel, btw, we checked that too.
